Psychotherapy Services

  • Adults and Teens

Since 2012, I have been practicing talk therapy with people roughly 12 to 90 years old and since 2015, I have seen most of my clients individually. I work with teens and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, different levels of trauma, low self-esteem, compulsive behavior, attentional issues, identity development or (most often) some combination of these. I appreciate the opportunity to work with people representing a wide, intersectional range of identities and cultures.

  • Families and Couples

My training as a therapist began at Thunder Road in Oakland, where I worked for two years with the families of dual-diagnosed adolescents, separately as well as in multi-family groups. During my subsequent training at The Psychotherapy Institute in Berkeley, I learned to work psychodynamically with teens, adults and couples. Since 2018 I have maintained a private practice working with individuals, families and couples, as well as occasional small groups, in person and via tele-health.

  • Clinical Supervision

During the pandemic I joined the volunteer staff of the Mental Health Connector at Immigrants Rising, which has provided a range of services and resources to the undocumented community since 2006. In 2022 I became a clinical supervisor in the program. In the same year I started the Supervisor Training program at Heart in Balance, a Bay Area non-profit that provides low-fee psychotherapy, as well as the CAMFT Certified Supervisor Program, which I aim to complete in 2024.
